Meet Mark...

I'm Mark the founding member of Breach and I am the Drummer πŸ₯

I'm 60 years young and live in Derby with my lovely wife Steph and our two Dogs.

I've been playing drums on and off since I was a teenager and have played numerous bands over the years.

10 Q U E S T I O N S

Q1. What is your favourite song Breach plays?

I have to say I've always loved playing Sanctuary by the Cult but I enjoy playing everything we do.

Q2. What is your favourite song Breach doesn't play?

We used to but no longer play Plush by the Stone Temple Pilots.

Q3. Who influences you the most?

From a drumming point of view I'd have to say the late great John Bonham, but there have been many amazing drummers over the years and I take little bits from them all with a view to playing in my own style (hit em hardπŸ˜‚)

Q4. Who is your all time favourite artist?

Ha ha my age reflects my choices I'm a big fan of such legends as Led Zeppelin/Pink Floyd/Black Sabbath and the more contemporary Tool but if it gets your feet stomping I'm in πŸ€˜

Q5. Do you have a favourite gig?

I'd have to say the amazing experience of playing to a few thousand people at the Silverstone Formula 1 and Moto GP on an enormous stage rig!!!

Q6. What is your pre-gig routine?

Ha ha bacon and coffee, shower and load the car...............have a melt down in case I've forgotten something πŸ˜‚

Q7. Any other hobbies besides rocking out in Breach?

Myself and Dan our guitarist are very much into the vaping culture and we attend various expos during the course of the year. I also love to just chill with my headphones and listen to some music and coffeee always β˜•οΈ

Q8. What would be your dream gig?

I love to play in front of large appreciative crowds I feed off the energy so any gig big or small.

Q9. If you could see any band this weekend, past or present, who would it be?

I was lucky enough to see Pink Floyd back in the day and would love to repeat that experience. I would go and see Tool and Rammstein again in a heartbeat πŸ€˜πŸ»

Q10. Where do you see the band in 2 years time?

Doing what we love the best - entertaining people up and down the country and still being a part of what I consider to be the awesome band that is Breach πŸ₯πŸŽΈπŸŽ€πŸ€˜πŸ»
